The Aroma Ingredients business continues to sharpen its focus on Quality leadership and enable scale. Simultaneously, the adorr® Vanillin range is expected to continue its growth trajectory.

Flavours and fragrances have the unique ability to evoke emotion, trigger memory, and shape experiences. CFS’s aroma ingredients business offers vanillin and ethyl vanillin built on the foundation of consistency and quality. Our vertically integrated platform ensures end-to-end control across the value chain, enabling reliable supply, product stability, and quality. This allows our customers to deliver repeatable sensory experiences, strengthening brand trust and consumer loyalty. In essence, we enable science and emotion to come together seamlessly.

The Aroma Ingredients business serves a diverse and global customer base, including flavour and fragrance houses, food and beverage manufacturers, agrochemicals and pharmaceutical industries, among others.


The business was impacted heavily by multiple external factors such as tariff uncertainties in the United States, anti-dumping regulations in both the U.S. and Europe, continued intensified price competition, particularly from Chinese suppliers in Europe and other regions and a broader slowdown in demand across key markets.

These dynamics collectively impacted growth momentum and created a highly competitive and volatile operating environment.

Despite these headwinds, CFS demonstrated strong resilience and customer commitment. We maintained consistent supply and service levels across key regions, particularly in Europe and the U.S. We ensured stable and competitive pricing, supporting long-term customer relationships. We strengthened our partnership with customers by understanding and adapting to their challenges, especially those arising from regulatory and tariff-related pressures. Importantly, the business continued to expand its customer base in Europe and the U.S., reinforcing its position as a reliable and quality driven supplier even in a constrained market environment.

This approach ensures that the business remains competitive not just on price, but on reliability, performance, and long-term value creation.
