Role Purpose
The Key Account Manager – Bakery Ingredients will be responsible for driving business growth in bakery ingredients with a strong focus on emulsifiers, improvers, enzyme systems and functional bakery blends by managing strategic bakery accounts across India. The role requires a combination of strong B2B sales capability and practical technical understanding of bakery manufacturing processes including bread, buns, cakes, muffins, cookies, biscuits and laminated products. The candidate will support the sales team technically, conduct customer trials, troubleshoot bakery processing challenges and convert application-led opportunities into sustainable commercial business while developing long term customer relationships. The role requires engagement with plant heads, R&D teams, procurement, quality teams and business owners of leading bakery manufacturers.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT
A state-of-the-art Central Applications Laboratory in Mumbai, India works on testing formulations and blends for the food, pet food and animal nutrition industries. It provides technical support to CFS’ laboratories in the USA, Brazil and Mexico and vice versa. Working in close partnership with customers to continually offer them innovative solutions, our applications laboratory focuses on discovering and developing the most effective ways of product applications.
These laboratories are efficiently manned by experienced food technologists, microbiologists, perfumers, flavourists and is equipped with the most modern instruments for supporting product development, performance testing and applications suitable for use in various industries and products. In addition to in-house applications development, we collaborate with customers to develop new shelf life solutions and aroma ingredients catering to their specific need.
