ESG INITIATIVE
WHERE RESPONSIBILITY MEETS RESILIENCE
Our transition towards a low-carbon future is increasingly data-driven, supported by third-party assurance processes, which could now provide verified climate insights to customers and stakeholders, strengthening trust across the value chain.
At Camlin Fine Sciences (CFS), sustainability is built like a hive: interconnected, intelligent, and continuously evolving. Every initiative, every operational improvement strengthens the collective ecosystem that powers our business, our communities, and our global stakeholders.
Just as each cell in a beehive contributes to the strength of the whole, our ESG framework blends environmental responsibility, social well-being, and governance excellence into one unified system of sustainable growth.

During FY2025-26, we achieved a landmark milestone with the successful implementation of Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) at our Tarapur site -
reinforcing our commitment to responsible water management and circular resource utilization.
In line with our philosophy of building a transparent and accountable hive, we transitioned from periodic monitoring to real time environmental visibility through online installations. Infrastructure upgrades, including the modernization of boiler, chimneys, and environmental display systems, have helped further strengthen operational transparency and stakeholder confidence.
To improve the energy efficiency of our ecosystem, we undertook a comprehensive thermal insulation program to minimise heat loss and optimize energy. Simultaneously, renovations for improved efficiency of internal power generation can contribute to a lower overall carbon footprint.

At the heart of every resilient hive is the well-being of its people. We continue to invest in building a healthier, safer, and more inclusive workplace, especially
at the Plants. With the complete renovation of our Occupational Health Centre (OHC), we provide enhanced medical surveillance and wellness support for employees.
In our hive, every worker matters. From the safety of our shop floors to the health of the communities we inhabit, people are the irreplaceable foundationof everything we build.
Our commitment to adherence to global labour, safety, and ethical standards is validated through successful SEDEX audits. Beyond our facilities, we remain deeply connected to the communities around us recognizing that industrial progress and social prosperity must grow together. By blending employee well-being, ethical accountability, and community engagement, we continue to build a hive that is resilient, responsible, and future-ready.

Strong governance is the foundation of our sustainability journey. Our Board of Directors comprises leaders from diverse technical and commercial
backgrounds. Their combined expertise guides our strategy and upholds our commitment to integrity.
Regular, solutions-focused sessions empower the Board to refine corporate policies, strengthen risk management, and maintain alignment with our ESG goals.
By embedding ethical decision-making and transparent accountability into our culture, we are not only creating a business that is resilient in today’s environment, we are also building one that is fully prepared to meet the evolving expectations of tomorrow’s stakeholders.
During FY2025-26, we made significant progress towards the completion of our Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) assignment for FY2025–26, strengthening alignment between operational performance, rigorous statutory compliance, and globally recognised standards. The GRI framework provides the structural integrity that gives our sustainability hive its shape, ensuring every environmental action, social initiative, and governance decision is measured, reported, and held to account.
This integrated approach not only strengthens organisational resilience but also prepares CFS to lead confidently within an increasingly regulated and sustainability-driven global business environment. Governance, at its finest, is not about constraint, it is about creating the architecture within which innovation, integrity, and growth can thrive together.
