(CMEB) is an off-white to white colour solid with an aromatic odour. It is mainly offered as a solution of 85% CMEB with 15% Water. CMEB is manufactured from 2-Chloro- l,4-dimethoxybenzene by nitration followed by reduction. It is mainly used in Naphthol production to further manufacture dyes and pigments and also additives in the pharmaceutical and essence industries.
