Dinamic 4-TBC®
(CAS No.: 90-29-3)

4-tert-butyl catechol (TBC®)

(CAS No.: 90-29-3)

1. Introduction:

4-Tert-butylcatechol is an organic chemical compound obtained by the butylation of Catechol using Isobutene gas. TBC 85% in water is an amber-coloured clear liquid, basically a formulation of approximately 85% TBC solid & 15% Water. It is mainly used as a polymerization inhibitor or a stabilizer for polymerizable monomers.

TBC 85% water is used in the production, transportation or storage of monomers. Depending on its solubility and concentration, each monomer varies from one another.
