1. Introduction:
HQEE is available in off-white flakes and Pellets form. It is hygroscopic in nature with a strong aromatic odour. It is also sensitive to light and turns yellow-brown in the presence of light.
HQEE is manufactured industrially by the ethoxylation of hydroquinone. HQEE is a symmetrical aromatic diol chain extender. It offers excellent performance with a wide range of such MDI-prepolymers and yields polyurethane elastomers that impart good tensile, elongation, hardness, modulus, and a great resistance to mechanical abrasion.

Uses & Applications:
As a chain extender, HQEE is mainly used to cure TDI / MDI systems Polyurethane products like PU adhesives, coatings, sealants, elastomers, Pufoam, spandex and sports ground, etc. HQEE is especially suitable for medium-hardness products.
